Installing a Turbo?

Whether installing a new, rebuilt or second hand turbo, initial start can be a killer.

PROBLEM: When the engine is first started after an install, there is always a delay in oil supply reaching the bearings. This can be as long as 30 seconds, which is enough time to cause premature wear or even seizure.

Feeding motor oil to the bearings manually through the oil feed orifice during installation is not a fool proof way to prevent this problem.

SOLUTION: Liqui-Moly "Turbo Super-Lube" is specifically designed to provide sufficient lubrication to a newly installed turbo. It provides a high load-bearing film that clings to all moving parts, preventing wear untill a continual oil supply reaches the turbo.
